Anthony Joshua is set to meet the champ, Charles Martin at the London O2 arena soon and he is certain that this Championship match for the title is NOT going the distance.

Can you doubt his claim? Hardly. His record speaks for itself – 15 – 0 with a 100% knockout victories. Yes, that’s literally ALL his fights. Anthony Joshua is a destroyer on a roll and has been heavily anticipated since his epic one-sided battle against rival Dillian Whyte back in December. Charles Martin, the current Heavyweight IBF Champion (23 – 0 – 1) refused to get into a verbal war with the Brit instead comparing this fight to a ‘stroll’ (in the park?).

Anthony responded:

‘Pepper him, pepper him, fast hands, combinations, good feet, head movement and just show him what boxing is really about.’

‘You know this is another level now, I know he is the champ, but he is against a hungry competitor, someone who is coming up with the ambitions of being heavyweight champ of the world and I appreciate that he has given me the opportunity, but I am going to try and grab it with both hands.’

Both seem tentatively respectful towards each other – but there’s one thing both agree on when asked whether this fight would go a full 12 rounds.

Anthony: ‘Probably not, nah not when we’re in the ring, it ain’t going the distance.’

‘I let these talk for me. No doubts, see you April 9. I will win. I will knock him out. It ain’t going 12 rounds, heavyweights ain’t supposed to go 12 rounds.’

You can’t disagree with either given their records. Who do you have then??? Let us know!
